How do we teach our children compassion?
“There are two ways of spreading light: be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.” ~Edith Wharton
As Christians we demonstrate compassion for one another through the sharing of our time, talents, and treasure. Participating in mission work in the Native American reservation in South Dakota, the villages of Mexico, and the streets of Gettysburg is one of the ways we take action to alleviate suffering. Taking the time to really listen to each other is another way we demonstrate compassion. Celebrating our abundance by sharing the gifts God has first given to us is yet another action we can take to live a life of compassion.
““The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”Matthew 25:40 NIVNib o’olal!Gracias!Thank you!
